SCHILLER AG was founded in 1974 by the physicist Alfred E. Schiller. It began as an engineering company with offices near Zurich in Switzerland.
The first product developed by SCHILLER was the MINISCOPE MS-1, a lightweight portable emergency ECG device. This was a significant innovation at a time when ECG devices were large and bulky and therefore mostly stationary.
The MINISCOPE revolutionised the ECG market in 1974 and paved the way for SCHILLER's continued success story.
